The route goes by roads E80/E65, E851 and minor roads.
If not visiting historical towns Perast and Kotor in Boka Bay, we recommend to take ferry Kamenari – Lepetane (prices here: www.ferry.co.me/EN/Cjenovnik.html) so you leave the state road E80/E65, passing through the town of Tivat and after the town connecting back to road E80/E65 which leads to town Sutomore. Then continue by the road E851 through the city of Bar where after long road-overpass take 2nd right-turn on roundabout direction Stari Bar. Continue 1.6 km where take right-turn (already little bit uphill), then after 600 meters, cross the river across the narrow bridge and continue straight on the T-junction. Pass near an old industrial hall on your left and then just follow Bartula – My Olive Garden camp signposts for last 1.7 km by the winding road to the camp (GPS coordinates: N 42° 4′ 56.57″ E 19° 8′ 47.645″). Please note that the last 1 kilometer of the road is steep and narrow asphalt road, drive carefully.

The route goes by road E851 and minor roads.
From border ALB-MNE take the road E851 to the suburbs of city of Bar. When get to urbanized plains, turn right just after the red “Kalamper” petrol station at the beginning of city Bar, there is brown signpost “Stara Maslina – Old olive tree” and “Stari Bar” old town. After 300 meters you get to kind-of little square where you turn left and continue 600 meters by the village road. Finally you will end up at small crossroad where you will see blue “Bartula” signpost that navigates to the district where our campsite is. Turn right and continue last 1.7 kilometer following our brown “Bartula Olive Garden camp” signposts all the way to the campsite (GPS coordinates: N 42° 4′ 56.57″ E 19° 8′ 47.645″). Please note that the last 1 kilometer of the road is steep and narrow asphalt road, drive carefully.
The route is suitable mainly for road/mountain bikes due to the conditions of the road !
The distance from Virpazar to Bartula – My Olive Garden camp is roughly 36 km.
The route goes by minor roads and mountain pass Sutorman.
When arrive to the roundabout in Stari Bar, take 3rd right-turn direction Stari Bar. Continue 1.6 km where take right-turn (already little bit uphill), then after 600 meters, cross the river across the narrow bridge and continue straight on the T-junction. If you are traveling by plane and are interested in getting know the whole territory of Montenegro (especially the national parks in the north of the country), a car rental combined with lift at the airport is recommended. We recommend to book the car even before the arrival to the country, via internet.
If you don’t need a car, our campsite is accessible also by the public transport (see the Access-by-public-transport section below for instructions).

There are regular ferry lines from Italian towns of Ancona and Bari. For more information use the internet search. The distance of Bartula – My Olive Garden campsite from the port of Bar is about 6 km.
It is necessary to arrive to the main bus station in Bar which is located 6 km from our campsite (map: https://goo.gl/maps/TY6B5fCGTvm). We can arrange a transfer right to the campsite (ask for price when sending us email or reservation) – in case you are interested in this service, please specify the request in the reservation, including the time of your arrival to Bar bus station. You can also use a taxi from the bus station – tell the taxi driver the destination is Bartula neighbourhood.

We warmly recommend to travel by Belgrade (Serbia) – Bar (Montenegro) train line. The route is one of the most beautiful railways in Europe. This railway leads through 254 tunnels and over 435 bridges, throughout the splendid wild landscape of Montenegro. Prior to the entrance to the city of Podgorica it starts to drop right from the long and deep canyon of the Morača river, then leads along the picturesque Skadar Lake. Finally, after it passes the long railway tunnel of Sozina (6.17 km), a stunning view of the Adriatic Sea emerges and remains visible as far as the train reaches the terminal station in the town of Bar. The main railway station in Bar is situated at the same place as the main bus station. Our campsite is located 6 km from there (map: https://goo.gl/maps/wiYzJmUFRXp).
